Insights (platform usage)
Insights shows how your organisation uses Checker — case volume, photo intake channels, and EDI delivery — for your tenant only.
Available to Admin and SysAdmin users via the header Insights button, or Admin menu → Insights.
Insights has two views:
- Overview — month dashboard (KPIs, volume chart, source mix, terminal and EDI detail)
- Extract — period reports by dimension (terminal, device, or tags), with KPIs, distribution bars, and a grouped table
Overview — what you can see
- Month summary cards — cases, photos, EDI sends, and photos delivered via EDI, with change indicators: the current month compares against the same period of the previous month (e.g. on the 16th, day 1–16 vs day 1–16), while closed months compare full month vs full month
- 12-month volume chart — cases and photos per month; click a month to open it
- Photos by source — devices, manual, mail ingest, external API, file import
- Terminal activity (expandable) — cases by terminal, where volume concentrates
- EDI delivery (expandable) — delivery outcome (success rate with delivered / failed / pending counts) plus sends and photos per destination; a per-protocol split appears when your send log records the protocol
Extract
Use Extract when you need a period extract rather than the month overview:
- Choose report, dimension, period (presets or custom dates), and optional compare to the prior equal-length period
- Click Apply — changing controls alone does not re-run the report
- Review KPIs, distribution bars, and the groups table
- Use Download displayed groups for a CSV of the groups currently on screen (top-N plus Other when truncated). Full raw export is a separate capability when enabled
Tag extracts may reject very large periods with a clear message; narrow the date range and try again.
Why it matters
These figures evidence depot throughput and compliance: Checker recorded the cases and delivered photos via EDI for the selected month. Use them in management reporting and to explain why the platform is business-critical.
Tips
- Overview months use UTC calendar bounds (same definitions as ConPDS ops reporting)
- Extract periods use your tenant timezone for calendar days
- Figures are cached briefly for speed: the current month / open periods may lag live data by a few minutes; closed periods longer
- Empty sections mean no activity for that metric in the selected range
- Gallery users do not see this page — Admin or SysAdmin is required
