Audit Log

The audit log records significant actions in your tenant — who performed an operation, when it happened, and whether it succeeded. Use it for compliance review and troubleshooting access changes.

What you can do

  • Filter by date range, user, action type, and outcome
  • Search for specific objects (users, terminals, devices)
  • Review login events, configuration changes, and send/delete operations
  • Export results for external audit packages (when export is enabled)

Typical use cases

  • Verify who disabled a user or changed terminal retention
  • Confirm when a device was approved or revoked
  • Trace send failures alongside the Send log
  • Support GDPR or internal compliance requests

Common workflow

  1. Set filters (date range, user, action type)
  2. Search for a terminal code, username, or device id
  3. Open row details or export for compliance packages
  4. Cross-check with Send log for delivery issues

Tips

  • Use narrow date ranges for faster loads on busy tenants
  • Combine with Users and Devices when investigating access issues
  • Audit entries are read-only — they cannot be edited or deleted from the UI
