Devices

Manage mobile devices registered to your tenant. Field staff use the ConPDS Checker mobile app to capture inspection photos; devices must be approved before they can upload.

What you can do

  • Review pending registration requests — the Admin button shows a badge when approvals are waiting
  • Approve or reject new devices
  • Edit device labels and linked user assignments
  • Disable or delete devices that are lost or decommissioned

Registration workflow

  1. A user installs the ConPDS Checker mobile app and enters the Customer PIN
  2. The device appears in Devices as a pending request
  3. A tenant administrator approves the device
  4. The device can upload pictures linked to your tenant

This page documents device administration in the web UI. It does not describe integration APIs or technical authentication details.

Tips

  • Use descriptive device names (handset model + user name) for easier audit review
  • Remove devices when phones are replaced — users register again with the same PIN flow
  • Check the Audit log for device-related changes
