Sharing Cases

You can share inspection cases with others using share links. Share links allow external users to view cases without logging into the system.

From the case menu​

  1. Open a case card in the Gallery
  2. Click the More menu (expand_more icon) in the case header
  3. Select Share case
  4. In the share dialog, set expiry days (1–365 days)
  5. Optionally enable notify on access
  6. Copy the generated link

From Send → New mail​

When sending by email, you can choose Send link instead of attachments in the Send to modal. This creates a share link and includes it in the email body instead of attaching picture files.

Share links provide:

  • Public access — No login required to view (guest viewer)
  • Expiry control — Links expire after the configured number of days
  • Access tracking — View count per link in the Links panel
  • Revocation — Manually revoke links before expiry

When a case has active or expired share links, a Links button appears in the case header:

  1. Click Links to open the share links popup
  2. View link URLs, expiry dates, and view counts
  3. Copy a link URL or Revoke a link
  4. Toggle Include expired to show expired links

There is no global share-link management page in the account menu — links are managed per case from the Gallery.

Guest Experience​

When someone opens a share link:

  1. They see a public viewer interface
  2. They can browse through the shared pictures
  3. They can download individual pictures or the full case
  4. No login or account is required

Security Note: Share links provide public access to your cases. Only share links with trusted parties and set appropriate expiry periods.
